Knocking sound when Gear in P or N

yes. for all owner here.

Engine mount on our car wont last more than 40k. get it changed and claim dealer before warranty is out.

on similar topic of sounds from braking... apart from the "hiew" sound from hand-braking, i encountered knocking sound whenever i go over hump while braking. sent to EM and they replaced the engine mounting and the arm's hydro-mounts... solved the problem - now, the car rides like I am on magic carpet!

i started to hear the "hiew" sound sound 4-5 months ago and it went away from the rear after i replaced my rear brake pad (msg appeared). The remaining "hiew" sound from the front is still there, so I assume, it should go away once i changed the front brake pad... (my own theory...) the pads are getting thinner, but not yet due for replacement.

not really for mine. but the "hiew" sound when engaging parking brake is there and getting louder though

some mechanical movement can be felt on the gear knob while pressing the brake. It was there since day 1 i received the car. Not a problem I think. But no much of sound as you mention.

Does anyone face a problem when the gear is in P and when you press the brake, you get a knock sound like its brake calipers are releasing. Took it to Audi and they say it normal and gets louder overtime. Vibration is felt at the gear lever also. Appreciate any feedback
