I did a simulation at UK Audi website, the price of A6 Hybrid with similar spec as Malaysia standard import spec (1st batch) = £ 53,338 with 20% VAT = about RM 293k, but in Malaysia, it was sold for RM 288k, which means our dealer Euromobil enjoyed better than normal margin on all A6 Hybrid sold in because there is no VAT in Malaysia albeit there was sales tax during importation.

Welcome bro, you're probably the only one from UK and probably only one IN UK that owns the a6h  

New owner from UK here, pretty rare over here as they are 50% more expensive than the equivelent A6 2L Tdi which is more economical and almost as fast!
Feels great thought having the high tech humming around underbeneath......

Actually the tax exemption still valid as long as the car is manufactured in year 2013, not necessarily registered by end 2013.

When I collected my car in late December, the SA said EM brought 1997 cars into Malaysia. The SA said that there were still 12 cars available, RM308k high spec (ie including google maps and all the optionals). The cars have to be registered by 31 Dec 2013 to qualify for the tax exemption.

Not sure whether its part of the 1,000 allocation ... asked SA the same question, how is it possible that they are still selling a6h beyond 31st Dec .... he just said the management 'got jalan' .....

Was told by my SA last week that there are still very limited units from those who booked but either had not got their loans approved or are delaying delivery for whatever reasons.

Very limited units left for $288k version and once that's exhausted, it's gonna be $290+ version with more toys.

Went to audi bukit bintang last Monday and still there are some units waiting to b delivered. Dunno whether this is the initial 1000 units or the additional allocation euromobil got.

I believed the first thousand cars have been delivered. Anybody still waiting?
