$350 per vehicle for DVD in motion programming, if there are more than 3 vehicles in a single location

$400 per vehicle for single jobs and he will come over to your site (home of office).

Mention Audi A6 group buy to get the above price.

He further mentions that 2014 maps should be available to him sometime next month. However, map updates are around $1400-$1500 each.

Dude, so he will meet us and do the reprogramming on site? The price is it inclusive of updating the navigation maps? Where is his shop btw?

The targeted date is sometime second or third weekend of April. Since most of us are from KL, any suggestions on where to meet. Seller suggested gardens mid valley but that's a horrible choice.

BMW guys usually meet at citta mall ara damansara which I think is a good choice. Parking is easily available and much less traffic.

i checked with KL asking a veteran decoder. he asking rm500.

i asked in Singapore, the shop asking S$530!

then a forummer in SG said he can do for me, i just need to pay him whatever sum i like to. but havent got time to do so.

Without a doubt, any non official tweaks will have your warranty challenged but this is only a software tweak to enable the dvd in motion feature which has been disabled by audi

The EM guys will not know it's been tweaked unless they inadvertently play the dvd when test driving your car and in any event your mmi needs servicing, you can always get Bimmer code to love the feature back for you.

Having a nice screen but being only to play the dvd when the car is stationary defeats the purpose of the feature, even if one argues that it's in the interest of safety. It's a good pacifier for my kid

Guys, finally found someone who's able to reprogram our MMI to support DVD in motion (ability to play DVD pictures on the MMI while car is moving).

He's Vic or otherwise known as BimmerCode. He used to do much for the same stuff for BMW forum members before with good reviews.

I've asked him to register as a member here and post his service for a group buy for us.

He usually charges $350 for the reprogramming. Wait for his posting on his offer.

Maybe its time we can plan for our first Teh Tarik session among a6h members.

Btw, he also does annual map updates for our cars for a fee as well
