It was cold when I drove in the evening, the same day.
Looking back, when the central console was hot to touch,
1) the car was parked under the sun, and
2) the petrol engine keep charging the battery although the battery was more than "half tank" full(4 bar green).
I was wondering why the petrol engine behave that way.
The only reason I could think of is that perhaps the battery was fully charged, in preparation for the strong blowing air-cond.

Mine is not hot at all, even a bit cold...the aluminum panels on both sides of the gear knob are definitely cold.
Mebe ur a/c temperature for the back passengers is adjusted to hot and not cold...give it a check

The central console near to the gear knob is hot to touch, especially on the passenger side.
Any idea what is going on?
