U can adjust the light intensity in vehicle settings. Dark colors absorb light so that's y u think the lights are not bright enough.

Yeah, I set my seating position rather low yet occasionally, I still knee the switch.  Maybe try sitting further back a little but I like to drive further upfront like a sports car.

On the subject of LED, my friend pointed out that there is a strip of LED lighting along the front doors just above the window switches.  I guess that's ambient lighting.  Another day, anothernew discovery
the ambient lighting is way to dimm. anything that we can do to brighten up the LED?

Ya, I dislike the idea of leaving the lamp switch at AUTO too.

Thanks Walkman, that explains why I can never see the LED lights on the door. I leave my lamp switch in 0 and switch on manually. Have this unfounded paranoia about switching it on auto and risking early failure of the very expensive headlights

Replying Admin from the 'roll call' thread. In order for the LED lights on door handles to lit up, the lamp switch must be on AUTO. I have not tested whether the 'leaving home' option has to be on or not in the MMI setting. This is something I dislike, as on BMW, its is always on wherever you unlock your door. Its is not in the manual, I read this accidentally in either Audiworld or Audizine forum. This is not intuitive.
