1. gesture based boot opening by a fluid kick movement under the boot
2. LED lighting strip on all doors hidden just above the power window switches. Part of ambient lighting feature
3. LED welcome lights on door handles ala BMW style when remote key is pressed or door opened but will only be available if main light switch is set to Auto, not 0
the LED lighting on door hardly noticeable, due to the black color door.
For gesture based opening, practice makes perfect. After a while, you can usually invoke it at worst, after two tries.
As for ambient lighting, I think it's ok. Subtle and not too intrusive

Make sure your knob position is at passenger side. Put your gear into reverse, tilt the knob to the required position. That new position is now stored and will be automatically tilted the next time you reverseshaun88 wrote:I tried the Passenger side rear mirror kerb view and it doesn`t till down the side mirror?? The first time both will come out simultaneously but if u engage the wipers again, only the windscreen wipers will operate...

Passenger side rear mirror kerb view
You must switch your rear view mirror knob to passenger side for this to work. When this is done and you engage into reverse gear, the passenger rear view mirror will 'tilt' down.

In addition to reverse parking, The reverse camera is also able to assist in side or L parking.
To invoke this feature, you have to apparently drive next to the car in the front of the side parking space you intend to maneuver your car into. Then press the top right function button on your console and the picture will change to that of a Side parking with the assisted lines
Tried this once but can't get used to it yet. Still prefer my trusty old methods from driving school

Re: Features we didn't know we had
You can control the sensivity of the rain sensing wipers.
Auto rain wipers can be invoked on the right stalk by the first nudge up. The sensivity to the rain drops and thus frequency of wipes can be controlled by the dial on top of the stalk, with increased sensivity if the dial is moved towards the right.
Kinda redundant I think because the sensor should automatically adjust itself by the frequency of raindrops. I think the BMW implementation is more simple and practical but no complaints here since its a nice to have feature

Short duration turning signal blinker. This is in BMW manual but not mention in Audi. Just do a soft flick, before the stalk engage. It blinks for about 3 seconds. Good for signalling lane changing.
