30k sevices and inspection

60K service shall be the 4th service, which is the major service.

i ask fpor the costs during 3rd service and was quoted rm1.7 to 1.8k

50k km service. How much will it cost? And what part they will change ?

Howdy folks.. anyone done the major service yet around 50-60k? Would like to know the estimated cost and what was done.

just did mine 3rd service at 35km, well time is up for 3rd year, no choice.

i asked also how much for 4th service as i was told last time it will costs rm6-7k. but answer was rm1600-1700 instead. glad to hear that.

had my 45K km services last month.
informed about a little noise from the suspension, and the steering vibrate during the process of charging the hybrid battery (when idle).
mechanics test drove and agreed to change the engine mounting and all the lower arm bush.
After the replacement, wala! car felt like new again. Engine is so quiet.

Hi,
Vibration can be caused by anything... better take it to EM or any workshop.
A6H's braking is difficult to control - you may have triggered the ABS. But if you encounters it often, be safe - send to the workkshop.
Usually, the workshop would try to skim the disc if it is warped before replacing it... Pls update us!

Anyone know what is the recommended millage to change disc plate?
My steering seems to vibrate when I put on brake at 120km/h. Is that normal? Currently I just completed 35kkm.

The std srvc interval is 15k km...

But you may shorten. My car at SC with 71k km with hybrid issue - SA recommended i do the 75k km. Save a trip... ok lah

Hi.. anyone has service schedule recommended by audi doe A6H? Is it every 15000km. Or 7500km?

on the tyres/ tires, i used Michelin Primacy 3 ST (China) for the front and Pilot Super Sport for the rear.
GoodYear also good. Not sure about Conti and others.

Did my 30K service last week - Salak South. Services was good, all friendly staff and no delay.

just have my 30k service done yesterday.
air-cond filter was changed, coolant additive added, apart from the lubricant.
told them the suspension making noise on uneven road,  they said grease has wear off. after service, the suspension feels softer albeit still making a little noise, but much improved.
The small battery still in good condition, no need to change.( a new one cost RM1100)

2 new updates, free of charge.  It took extra half an hour for the update.
CPN 87E6: software update of Climatronic unit.
CPN93A5: software update of Control Battery Unit.
Both these updates has nothing to do with the MMI, therefore no changes seen on the LCD screen.
I am yet to feel any difference after the update, but if you really ask me , perhaps the air-cond cool down faster( partly because of the new air cond filter).

Dear Admin, can you find out what actually have been update. ( the service advisor wasn't able to  give me an answer. )

The service adviser told me that our A6 battery do not need to change like normal car battery, it meant to last for many years, but probably not as long as the hybrid battery at the car rear end.

my 45k service was a bit frustrating.

Sent the car on Saturday and told them I wouldn't mind collecting the car on Monday. On Tuesday morning I went to collect - not ready - During telecon later that day, the guy said "after 45k service, they found many error messages and need more time to check".
Called on Thursday - they said car ready after 2:30 pm. When I collected, diff story - was told the person in charge attended training and didn't update them - already completed on Monday and I saw the stamp wrt the completion date and time.
Poor communications.  
COST RM700+ for engine oil and 45k service. OK lah. but I noticed the car a bit sluggish - no more screeching tyres. not sure if due to re-flash of the ecu or the fresh engine oil.

i sent mine to Glenmarie (30k km service) - they checked and fixed some issues I had.

1. Changed the engine oil - normal.
2. Changed the brake pad - surprised, but knowing A6H is a heavy car, ok lah.
3. Did not change the tyre there - was told alignment would cost RM200+
4. Battery - they checked, ok.
5. My A6H at 45k km now, sending for oil change this week - same place. so far battery still OK.
6. I have the "engine" warning light ON since last Saturday. To get them to look at that too.
7. On their website, they (2) are now open full day on Sat - not sure if they would do major service on Sat.

Hello, I am sure many of you had gone thru 30,000km services.
I am going for it next month.
1) May I know, apart from the usual engine oil change, what other has been carried out? What was inspected?

2)the car battery （ the usual battery, not the hybrid rechargeable battery), is 18 months old. As i am staying 100km from the nearest service centre, is it good to change the battery now?
If the battery knock out in one fine day, I am not sure the mechanics outside would able to change the battery.
